Job Description

Stragistics Technology Inc. specializes in IT Resource and Project Support of application and infrastructure related projects. With a focus on IT solutions management, Stragistics provides technical and management support to government agencies, public utility, and companies in private industry including electronics, distribution, healthcare, manufacturing and third-party logistics firms. Our team of professionals supports all aspects of the entire lifecycle in IT development projects with core competencies including: consulting, turn-key solutions, IT staff augmentation, application and network management, and custom software development.

Work Scope: Application Development Documentation Specialist Perform process documentation for the Application Development area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Document Creation: Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), user manuals and training materials.
  • Content Management: Organize and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring content is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of process engineering principles and best practices.
  • Review and Edit: Review and edit documentation produced by other team members for clarity, grammar, and compliance with established standards.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand product specifications, user needs, and industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing documentation processes and implement best practices.
  • Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

Technical Proficiency

  • Tools and Software: Proficiency in various documentation tools and software, such as:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Content Management Systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Visio
  • Smartsheet project management
  • Prism PPM (Work Otter)
  • Diagramming: Proficiency in creating flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
