Job Description

Summary

The Assistant General Manager works with patients, ensures the team adheres to policies and procedures, supervises team members, oversees dispensary operations, and ensures a wonderful patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
  • Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
  • Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
  • Processes patient’s payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensures that the store is clean and well-organized at all times.
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Hires, trains, and supports new employees.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Provides leadership and direction to all employees.
  • Works closely with the general manager.
  • Ensures an excellent standard of customer service is upheld.
  • Maintains the store to high standards, includes stocking products and regular cleaning.
  • Completes tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently.
  • Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
  • Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to three years of experience working as a budtender, supervisor, AGM, or GM.
  • Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
  • Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Work well with other team-members.
  • Be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
