Associate Account Executive, Public Sector:

Speridian Technologies is looking for a high-energy and enthusiastic team member to grow our public sector presence throughout the northeast. While this position will be mostly remote, we do require that the successful applicant be in the Capital District. In this position, you will learn from some of the most experienced and successful public sector professionals in the business. As this position will be customer-facing, communication and presentation skills, along with a contagious enthusiasm are key to your success.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within state and local government agencies.
2. Navigate government procurement processes, including collaborating with internal teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and compliance requirements.
4. Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
5. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
2. Existing or willing to earn trusted relationships with government clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
3. Up to 3 years of experience in public sector sales
4. Working familiarity/background or formal education in strategic IT business sales
5. Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations.
