An equipment supplier is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Sr. Sales Executive to join their team in Torrance, CA . This position is responsible for the success of reginal sales in Western U.S. A bachelor’s degree, related field, 5+ years of sales experience, ability to travel (West + some international), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position, plus bonus with excellent benefits and 401k. [Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-5]
Bilingual Japanese/English Sr. Sales Executive Duties:
-Work closely with Sales Manager or/and Executive Vice President to develop and expand the business in the territory.
-Manage all sales aspects in the territory to meet the Company’s sales goals.
-Work on your own initiative for the Company’s entire sales plans.
-Develop and implement annual effective reginal sales strategy, and breakdown it into monthly/quarterly plan.
-Manage regional sales target/budget or target/budget per customer annually and monthly with Sales Manager or/and Executive Vice President.
-Identify new potential customers and new market opportunities in the territory.
-Manage existing channel partners/customers including direct-distributors, sub-distributors, their reps and contractors in the territory.
-Help to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for Sales Manager or/and Executive Vice President or other Departments.
-Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
-Timely handle and resolve customer needs and complaints regarding a product or service.
-Quote and set pricing and discount with support provided by the Sales Support Department.
-Participate in the trade shows that the Company attends and support the Marketing Team if requested.
Bilingual Japanese/English Sr. Sales Executive Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
-Must have 5+ years of sales experience
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must be able to ability to travel (West + some international)
-Team player who can also work independently.
