CCTV / Access Control Operations Manager

My client is an excellent Energy Management company that does Access Control, CCTV,  Camera, Building Automation and Alarm work for Commercial and Industrial clients.  They are looking for an Operations Manager for the CCTV and Access Control Division.  Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and assist with planning, scheduling, and organizing all aspects of security related projects by working closely with Security Division Manager, Project Managers, Sales Team, Security Specialists and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with sales team, project management, sub-contractors, and other trade partners.
  • Maintain and/or initiate a regular process of customer communication to ensure customer feedback and overall satisfaction on all installation projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service through respectful communication, a caring attitude, and ensuring customer satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Assist project managers with completing and managing documentation for projects including but not limited to submittals, RFI, schedule of values, drawings, and closeout documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers and service dept. to ensure customer commitments are met on time and in an organized efficient manner
  • Continuously review, analyze and recommend to security division management changes and enhancements to improve operating efficiencies and business expansion.
  • Prepare for and attend meetings to discuss status, costs estimates, progress and profitability of all jobs.
  • Review project scope of work, system designs, site configurations and installation schedules with project managers to ensure project goals will be achieved.
  • Assist with coordination of all work of technicians and subcontractors with the client.
  • Anticipates and identifies problems early and implements solutions that appear seamless to our customers, including negotiating and implementing appropriate change orders if required.
  • Approves all project documents in a timely manner
  • Communicate with the administration and accounting departments on project status, project completion, and amount to be invoiced based on AIA schedule of values.
  • Review project materials and authorize purchase of materials while maintaining positive cash flow and maintaining project schedule.
