Job Title - AWS Engineer

Location - Phoenix, AZ/New York Onsite

Full time

Experience Range - 8+ years

Technical/Functional Skills

5+ years’ experience in cloud computing
Experience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in basic administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB and/or ElasticSearch
Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.)
Knowledgeable about networking and security
Knowledgeable about configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
Strong Hands on experience with one or more programming languages ( Python or Java).
Experience with CICD pipelines, Automated test frameworks, DevOps and source code management tools (XLR, Jenkins, Git, Maven).
Strong communication and analytical skills including effective presentation skills.
Familiarity with Agile & scrum ceremonies."

Roles & Responsibility :

Work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of AWS projects, including migration, containerization and transformation
Write infrastructure as code
Perform AWS environment troubleshooting and setup
Meet customer SLAs and managing communication in case of issues
Configure and maintain backup, monitoring and alerting systems for multiple clients
Interact with teams and customers to ensure 24/7 support
Administrate automated deployments and scripting using Bash, PowerShell and/or Python
Participate in work sessions with clients
Complete technical documentation
Deliver quality work in agile team environment
