Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 (DOE)

About the Opportunity

My client, a $50M general contractor with a longstanding relationship with Universal Studios, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Orlando-based team. With a strong pipeline of projects secured for the next 5+ years, this role offers stability, mentorship, and growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager on all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
• Prepare, track, and process RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence.
• Assist with cost control, billing, and budget tracking.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Help monitor project progress and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Internship or 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction; amusement/theme park project exposure is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, Microsoft Excel, and construction management software.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Must be local to the Orlando area.
