Job Description

Project Manager - Construction

Collage has a number of opportunities for exceptional Project Managers to join our dynamic and growing construction team. As a key player in project execution, project managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process to ensure successful completion within the parameters of time, quality, and cost. Working closely with a dedicated project team, you will drive collaboration and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with the project team, including Project Superintendent, Project Coordinator, and Project Engineer
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, outlining the scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive subcontractor agreements and scopes of work
  • Develop and manage project schedules using software such as Microsoft Projects or Primavera
  • Monitor and control project progress, budget, and resources, addressing potential issues promptly
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Oversee the submittal process, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Identify and address Requests for Information (RFIs) and potential change orders
  • Lead weekly meetings with stakeholders, including owners, architects, and contractors, and prepare meeting minutes
  • Act as the main Point of Contact (POC) for the client and design team, maintaining clear and open lines of communication
  • Oversee change management processes, ensuring efficient resolution and approval
  • Prepare and present monthly project status reports, updating stakeholders on progress, budget, and timelines
  • Coordinate project closeout procedures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Manage warranty work and address any post-construction issues or concerns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software and tools, such as Microsoft Projects or Primavera
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within time, cost, and quality constraints
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Experience in contract administration, risk management, and conflict resolution
