About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to serve as the on-site field leader for large-scale construction projects in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for managing all day-to-day jobsite operations and trade activities from horizontal development through vertical construction and interior finishes. The Superintendent ensures safe, high-quality, and efficient execution in compliance with all codes and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily jobsite operations, including subcontractor oversight, field staff, equipment, deliveries, and sequencing.
  • Manage trade partners to ensure compliance with safety, sequencing, and workmanship standards.
  • Implement and maintain site logistics plans, including access control, staging, material flow, and phasing.
  • Conduct daily field walks to verify progress and resolve issues; ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain 2-week lookahead schedules; coordinate updates with Sr. Construction Manager for IMS integration.
  • Coordinate inspections and field activities with base personnel and government representatives.
  • Enforce Site-Specific Safety & Health Plan (SSHP) per OSHA; lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain security compliance, including restricted-area access and credential verification.
  • Support QA/QC measures with the Quality Control Manager; verify installed work meets contract requirements.
  • Track inspections, testing, material verification, and punch-list items; maintain accurate daily logs and reports.
  • Validate subcontractor progress for billing and assist Sr. CM with cost-to-complete updates.
  • Identify and escalate field issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality with recommended solutions.
  • Lead pre-task planning, daily coordination meetings, and subcontractor performance reviews.
  • Coordinate RFIs and design clarifications with the Project Engineer; maintain red-line as-builts.
  • Support integration of printed components with conventional construction scopes and assist with acceptance testing and commissioning.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience on commercial or residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of field sequencing, site logistics, and construction means and methods.
  • Proficiency in Procore, P6, and standard field documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with government inspectors and installation personnel.

Preferred Skills

  • OSHA-30 Certification.
  • Experience with innovative construction systems.

Compensation:

$45/hr to $54/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
