Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software.

Specific Details-

K-12 Experience is required- Most projects are Ground Up and range in value from $10M-70M. We are unable to consider individuals without this K-12 background/experience. Client currently has more than $4B in projects lined up through 2031 throughout the DFW area.

This role would primarily service projects in/around the Ft. Worth/Tarrant County area.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage project schedules using computer tools to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Utilize Bluebeam for project documentation and communication among team members.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Implement OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Utilize an Ohmmeter for electrical testing as required during construction phases.
  • Facilitate project scheduling meetings to keep all parties informed of timelines and deliverables.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and project updates.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software, including Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication.
  • Experience in pipeline construction is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
  • Proficient in project scheduling techniques to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Education -

Prefer Bachelors in Construction Management or related-
