POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for a Corporate Counsel to join us in a hybrid capacity based out of our Bellevue, WA office. This position will work closely with the Managing Director of Americas (based in U.S.), IHQ Chief Legal Counsel (based in Singapore/China) and head of back office as well as business operations (based in U.S.) to ensure that all company legal needs are met, by performing hands-on management of legal matters and providing strategic legal support.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Provide sole coverage of daily legal support for the Americas (with the U.S. region being primary).
  • Provide professional and timely legal advice to various departments of the company on a variety of legal topics that relate to the IT services and products business.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the company.
  • Provide legal support for M&A projects where necessary.
  • Provide legal support to any potential disputes where necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Law degree from a recognized university.
  • Admission from a recognized bar.
  • 7+ years of related post-academic experience.
  • Strong skills in contract review, negotiation, and management.
  • Ability and desire to work autonomously in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to identify potential issues associated with legality and contracts and make good judgement calls on when matters should be escalated.
  • Highly organized with the ability to evaluate and prioritize/reprioritize high volume work with competing demands and quickly switch gears when needed.
  • Strategic thinker with strong project management and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive mindset and communication style.
  • Occasional international travel will be required (1-2x per year).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • International law experience preferred.

  • A competitive pay range of $120,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience).
  • 15% annual KPI bonus (depending on individual and company performance).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
