UPB specializes in SBA lending and is a Preferred Lender (PLP), which ensures a streamlined process in SBA financing. Additionally, UPB provides financing to both owner-occupied and investor-owned commercial real estate.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in City of Industry, CA for a VP/FVP - Credit Administration Officer. The Credit Administration Officer will be responsible for overseeing credit policies and procedures, assessing credit risks, managing loan portfolios, CRA compliance, loan review, 3rd party audit management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The officer will also collaborate with various departments to enhance credit risk management and engage in continuous improvement of credit administration processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit policies, credit risk assessment, and loan portfolio management
• Knowledge of SBA lending processes, commercial real estate, and C&I financing
• Loan Review; ability to train junior colleagues
• Produce Board Reports for Credit Administration
• Manage and calculate ACL/CECL
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial analysis and credit reporting tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Relevant experience in banking, finance, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
