Data Center Electrical Project Manager

Richmond, Virginia, United States

(Travel Required – Up to 75%)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in Data Center or Mission-Critical Infrastructure . This role will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, team coordination, and on-site execution.

This position requires up to 75% travel to project sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for electrical scopes on data center builds
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee installation of electrical systems: UPS, Generators, Switchgear, Cooling
• Ensure compliance with NEC, safety protocols, and QA/QC standards
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams
• Provide reporting and project documentation throughout each phase

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in E lectrical Construction Project Management
• Direct experience with D ata Centers or Mission-Critical Environments
• Strong understanding of E lectrical Systems, Codes, and Commissioning Practices
• Ability to manage multi-site projects with extensive travel
• PMP, CEM, or related certifications (preferred)
• Proficiency in project management tools
