We are seeking a talented and experienced Controller Head of Accounting to lead our financial operations and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Position Summary:

The Controller - Head of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, compliance, and accounting functions for the U.S. operations. This senior-level role requires a strategic, detail-oriented, and analytical professional with strong leadership skills who can collaborate effectively with our headquarters and internal stakeholders across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal company policies.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement financial reporting strategies to support business growth, transparency, and efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and controlling teams, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct detailed variance analyses and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Act as the main liaison with the Global Finance Team, ensuring alignment on global financial reporting standards and policies.
• Ensure full compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and audit requirements; coordinate with auditors and legal advisors as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes, implementing best practices across the finance function.
• Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in collaboration with the FP&A team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and controlling, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and familiarity with international accounting principles.
• Proven ability to work with global finance teams and align regional practices with corporate requirements.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing finance talent.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.
