Education Coordinator -Full Time-Nebraska Methodist College

Nebraska Methodist College is looking for an Education Coordinator to support the nursing division . This role focuses on coordinating continuing education, managing certificate courses, and overseeing skills lab operations, while working closely with students, staff, and academic leaders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and Deliver Educational Content: Collaborate with faculty and health system staff to develop and deliver innovative, evidence-based content across in-person, live, and online formats, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards.
• Program and Course Management: Oversee short-term certificate courses, including admissions, transcript and immunization review, student communication, and coordination of course schedules and syllabi.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Instructor Coordination: Hire and contract adjunct instructors, manage their schedules, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Budget and Program Optimization: Monitor budgets, support quality outcomes, and maximize program capacity while identifying new educational opportunities.

• Nebraska Methodist College- 720 N. 87th St. - Omaha, NE

Schedule:

• Mon - Fri, business hours

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor in Nursing required.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in educational setting, with emphasis on assessment and staff development, preferred
• 2-4 years experience project planning, preferred

License/Certifications:

• Current valid Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) License, valid compact multistate license to work in Nebraska, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
