However, the client is located in Sacramento, CA and thus it's expected that this individual's working hours be on Pacific Timezone. **JOB SUMMARY:** This role will ensures construction projects meet environmental regulations through expert knowledge of permitting laws and strong experience in compliance tracking and reporting. Their background in biology and large-scale project oversight supports effective environmental planning and protection. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Enter and code environmental commitments into the EMMA compliance database. + Prepare reports to document mitigation compliance and identify gaps. + Support construction-phase compliance tracking, documentation, and reporting. + Assist with managing environmental documents in SharePoint and other systems. + Coordinate with the Environmental Compliance Manager on compliance implementation. + Respond to routine compliance questions from regulatory agencies. + Apply knowledge of NEPA, CEQA, and key environmental permits and regulations. **Qualifications** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** + BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Experience in construction compliance tracking, documentation, reporting + Biology or conservation background + Experience with design-build contracting and construction processes + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 6 years of experience in environmental planning or construction compliance + Demonstrated ability to work with database management applications + Experience working on large, complex environmental compliance programs + Familiarity with NEPA, CEQA, and permits and approvals under Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 7 of the federal Endangered Species Act, Section 2081 of the California Endangered Species Act, and Section 1600 of the California Fish & Game Code, among others **Additional Information** + Travel may be required for this role. + Sponsorship is provided for this role. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
