SCH Savannah is expanding our portfolio with exciting new restaurant concepts, and we’re seeking talented chefs who bring a unique creative vision, exceptional leadership, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality. Our diverse group includes a wide range of locations and concepts, and we’re currently looking for candidates who can excel in the following roles:

Live-Fire, Seafood-Forward Shared Plates — Live Fire Kitchen

  • Concept: An open-kitchen experience focused on live-fire cooking and a raw bar component. Guests are seated kitchen-side at a chef’s counter, so composure, clean presentation, and direct guest engagement are essential.
  • What you’ll do: Lead a dedicated live-fire program, mentor a small team, source and prepare seafood, meat and produce to the highest standards, and ensure flawless execution from fire to plate.
  • Ideal background: Extensive live-fire experience, deep knowledge of seafood sourcing and preparation, strong leadership and teaching skills, and a calm, polished presence in a high-visibility setting.

All-Day Brunch + Dinner Modern Café/Restaurant This venue is already delivering high-volume, high-quality service.

  • Concept: Upscale-casual setting serving refined, seasonal American fare. The menu should be well-sourced, well-executed, and approachable, with a focus on quality and consistency across brunch and dinner.
  • What you’ll do: Oversee a high-volume operation (average covers 250-600 per day), lead cross-functional teams (AM/PM BOH and FOH), and maintain exceptional food quality and execution across brunch and dinner service.
  • Ideal background: Experience leading teams in high-volume, brunch-and-dinner environments, strong communication and people-management skills, a track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience (Executive Chef, CDC, or equivalent) in well-regarded restaurants or F&B outlets.
  • Track record of building and sustaining high-performing teams , with the ability to address performance gaps constructively.
  • Strong knowledge of current cuisine trends and the wider hospitality industry.
  • Financial acumen : ability to manage budgets, food and labor costs, and cost-control strategies.
  • Food safety expertise and systems implementation to meet or exceed DPH/food safety protocols; ServSafe Manager Certification is required.
  • Relationship builder: aptitude for fostering positive relationships with staff, suppliers, and cross-departmental leaders.
  • Resilient under pressure : maintain composure and clarity in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
  • Guest-focused leadership : comfortable engaging with guests when appropriate and representing the brand with a professional presentation.
