Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable law firm in Colorado to find an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant. This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable in family law and capable of providing comprehensive support to the legal team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling sensitive legal matters and committed to ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to attorneys by managing family law cases efficiently.
• Conducting legal research and gathering necessary documentation for case preparation.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including affidavits, motions, and agreements.
• Coordinating communication between clients, attorneys, and court officials.
• Organizing and maintaining case files and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
• Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates, while managing attorneys' calendars.
• Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality standards.
• Assisting with trial preparation and supporting attorneys during court proceedings.
• 3+ years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in family law.
• Ability to work onsite downtown.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, specifically in family law.
• Strong understanding of family law practices and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.

Benefits

Competitive salary range between $65,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated legal team in a supportive and professional environment. Candidates must be able to work onsite in downtown Colorado, and will be expected to uphold the highest standards of legal service and client care.
