Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Location:   West Palm Beach, FL (not a remote position)

Department: Finance

Reports to:   Director of  FP&A

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will support strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. You will collaborate across departments to ensure financial goals align with business objectives and help drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Partner with business units to track KPIs and assess financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision support for strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.
  • Assist in the development of board and investor presentations.
  • Improve financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
  • Experience with financial systems such as  Sage or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in  annuity business
  • Knowledge of Power BI   or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or PE-backed company environment.
