Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Administrator to join our busy construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering phones, writing up and keeping track of job slips, typing proposals, and ordering materials. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Writing up and maintaining accurate records of job slips.
  • Typing and formatting proposals for various projects.
  • Ordering and managing inventory of materials.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in an office setting, preferably within the construction industry.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.
