We partner with over 1,000 active retail locations across collegiate, surf, ski, breweries, destinations, and restaurants, including major retail partners like Fanatics, Dick’s Sporting Goods, SCHEELS, and Follett. Our products are known for their quality, attention to detail, and uniquely crafted designs that capture the spirit of each location.

We’re experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a creative and detail-oriented  Production Artist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented production artist to join our fast-growing apparel design team. The Production Artist is critical in ensuring that all production files are error-free and meet our company’s quality standards before and throughout final production. The perfect fit for this role will have a strong eye for detail, is highly organized with a process-improvement mindset, and proven design experience in Adobe design applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. The ideal candidate is efficient, adaptable, and passionate about delivering visually compelling and brand-consistent designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve production files, vendor proofs, and initial strike-offs for bulk production runs ensuring production art meets requirements and delivered products meet or surpass customer expectations.
  • Make minor revisions and adjustments to existing graphic and proofs as needed.
  • Develop tech packs and prepare production files for a wide range of outsourced and in-house production projects.
  • Create high quality production-ready graphics from templated designs.
  • Assist with mockups for custom apparel and product presentations.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in the art department procedures by developing, optimizing, and enforcing standardized workflows.
  • Maintain organized files and version control throughout the production process.
  • Ensure all artwork meets quality and brand standards.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
  • Ability to proofread and ensure production files are free of errors in spelling, design, layout, color, etc. while following all department standards and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and file management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
  • Positive team-oriented attitude with pro-active problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with custom apparel design and production processes is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task effectively.
