Head of U.S. Medical Affairs – Rare Neurological Diseases

We are a clinical-stage biotech dedicated to advancing innovative therapies for patients with rare neurological disorders. Our growing pipeline targets areas of high unmet medical need, with a strong focus on patient-centered, science-driven development.

The Head of U.S. Medical Affairs will lead the development and execution of the U.S. medical strategy across our pipeline. This individual will serve as the senior medical representative in the U.S., supporting clinical development, launch readiness, field engagement, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead U.S. medical affairs strategy for a clinical-stage pipeline.
• Build and manage a field medical team to engage with KOLs, investigators, and advocacy groups.
• Support clinical trial execution, site engagement, and evidence-generation initiatives.
• Drive scientific exchange, congress planning, and external education efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical development, commercial, access, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D. or equivalent) required.
• 10+ years of medical affairs experience, ideally in rare or neuroscience-focused biotech.
• Launch experience, ideally in Rare Neuro
• Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory standards, and U.S. healthcare dynamics.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading medical affairs functions in a high-growth environment.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Capable and well-versed at working independently, as the only current hire in the US M.A team. Reporting directly to the CMO
