Position Summary:

Are you an HR pro who loves rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference? We're looking for an HR Manager to be our go-to expert for all things people-related. You'll be a vital strategic partner and a hands-on leader, shaping the employee experience for our manufacturing and in-house sales teams. This role is crucial in nurturing our awesome company culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring we're always compliant with employment regulations. Key Responsibilities:

 

· Finding & Welcoming Talent:

o Craft and execute savvy recruitment strategies to bring in the best candidates for every role, from the production floor to our sales office.

o Manage the entire hiring journey: posting jobs, screening, interviewing, and getting those offer letters out!

o Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs that help our new hires feel right at home and ready to shine, embracing our Core Values .

· Keeping Our Team Happy & Engaged:

o Be the trusted confidant for employees and management, offering guidance on performance, resolving conflicts, and clarifying policies, always ensuring Great Experiences (treating internal team members as valued customers).

o Champion a positive and productive workplace through open communication and exciting employee engagement initiatives, fostering strong Teamwork .

o Handle any internal investigations with fairness and a consistent application of our company policies.

· Growing Our People:

o Support our performance management processes, helping set goals, conduct reviews, and guide corrective action.

o Help us plan for the future by facilitating succession planning.

· Compensation & Benefits:

o Manage all our compensation programs, including payroll input, salary reviews, and bonus structures.

o Oversee our benefits packages (PTO, health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.), ensuring they're competitive and clearly communicated, demonstrating our Respect for our team.

o Stay on top of market trends to keep our offerings top-notch.

· HR Compliance & Policy:

o Ensure we're always compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws (like OSHA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA), acting with integrity and Respect .

o Develop, update, and implement clear HR policies that everyone understands and follows consistently.

o Maintain accurate and confidential employee records ensuring adherence to company policies

o Ensure proper reconciliation of absences, vacation, holiday hours. Incentives. Etc.

o Manage workers' compensation claims and unemployment processes.

o OSHA, EEO-1 reporting and other reporting as required

· Safety & Wellness:

o Own the company's safety program, proactively identifying risks, developing safety protocols, and ensuring a culture of safety.

o Collaborate with operations to promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations, embodying our Teamwork value.

o Support initiatives that keep our team healthy and well.

· HR Strategy & Administration:

o Contribute to shaping HR strategies that perfectly align with our business goals.

o Prepare insightful HR reports and analyze data to help us make smart decisions.

o Manage our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR software

o Other tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in an HR Manager or senior generalist role.

· Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is a huge plus!

· Comfortable supporting both our incredible production team and our dynamic sales and administrative staff.

· Solid grasp of federal and Ohio state employment laws and regulations.

· Interpersonal and communication skills – you're a natural at connecting with people and embodying our Compassion and Respect values.

· Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization, fostering Teamwork .

· You handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

· Tech-savvy with HRIS systems, training systems (Trainual), and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

· Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and high attention to detail.
