Industrial Electrician II

The Industrial Electrician II is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires extensive hands-on fieldwork with high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. As the Industrial Electrician II, you must be familiar with NEC, NETA, NFPA 70 B and NFPA 70 E standards, and a certification in electrical technology, journeyman license, or a minimum of 4 years of related electrical experience.

Salary: $30.96+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Work location: Talbot County, Maryland

Essential Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot complex motor controls, automation controls, thermal couples, and VFDs
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics
• Maintain electrical equipment including but not limited to: Power Plants, Substations, and Pump Stations
• Provide technical support during electrical outages, generator start-ups, and weather-related emergencies
• Work safely at heights on ladders, towers, and lifts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience Level: Mid-Senior level

Education: High school diploma or equivalent,

Certifications: certification in electrical technology, or have four years of related electrical experience. Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred

• Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience
• Knowledge of electrical tools and power supplies
• Familiar with NEC, NETA, NFPA 70 B, and NFPA 70 E standards
• Experience interpreting blueprints and working knowledge of electricity and electronics
• Ability to work in various environments and extreme weather conditions
• Must be available for emergency call-outs and overtime as needed
• Valid driver's license required

Schedule: Four 10-hour days, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
