The Role

An Industrial Engineer – Continuous Improvement is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing operational processes to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity across an organization. This role plays a critical part in identifying opportunities for improvement using data-driven methodologies and implementing sustainable solutions that align with business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the function.
  • Develop and implement scheduling algorithms and methodologies to optimize distribution schedules.
  • Demonstrate strong continuous improvement knowledge and application of toolkit.
  • Develop and ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Support plant and transport project improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and drive the change process.
  • Work with partners and SME (subject matter experts) to identify and resolve any concerns related to the processes and systems.
  • Be the operations representative for system change management.
  • Flexible schedule and availability during critical times and peaks of the year including project roll out periods.
  • Design and implement efficient solutions including but not limited to capacity, productivity, quality and service.
  • Collect and analyze data to quantify and validate process improvements.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including cost justification, project planning, execution, training, and go-live support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and lead individuals who are not direct reports
  • Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple projects across several channels simultaneously
  • Enjoy operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under time constraints.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
  • Experience working in a union environment
  • Experience working with an automated system.
  • Experience with WMS, SAP, data analysis & SQL
  • Experience in operations, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
  • Able to write for and work with a wide range of audiences, from executives to line workers

  • What we offer:
  • The expected compensation for this role is $64,350 - $70,820 , depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
