Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (Contract)

Location: 2601 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY

Start Date: October 6, 2025

Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $85/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) to join a reputable hospital in south Brooklyn. The IR RN will play a critical role in providing specialized nursing care during interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting physicians throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and monitoring for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation safely in accordance with protocols.
• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other members of the care team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate critical care interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU, or similar).
• IV insertion and phlebotomy proficiency.
• Conscious sedation experience.

Certifications:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Updated resume required for submission.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Rate: $85/hour
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 4 days per week
