Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Shipping Analyst to support logistics and
shipping operations in our Wixom facility. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 1+ year of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or inventory management. The successful candidate will leverage strong Excel skills and shipping system knowledge to manage shipments, analyze performance data, and ensure efficient and timely logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Maintain and update shipping and inventory data using Excel.
• Perform accurate data entry, generate reports, and analyze logistics metrics for management review.
• Schedule and coordinate logistics activities to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.
• Support documentation, compliance, and system updates for daily shipping operations.
Qualifications
• 1+ year of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or inventory management (experience at
DHL, FedEx, UPS, or other logistics centers is highly valued).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and data management skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to work across teams and external partners.
