Location: NASHVILLE, TN, 37214
Salary: $20.0 - $25.0/hour

Marvin Cook - State Farm Agency, located in Nashville, TN has an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales / Service Professional. 1. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.


2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Nashville, TN. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

Requirements:

  • Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Property & Casualty license (required)
  • Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
