Job Description

  1. Supervises, directs and coordinates activities of maintenance associates engaged in maintaining, expanding, modifying and repair of machinery and equipment, physical structure of building and grounds.
  2. Plan the utilization of space and facilities consistent with the company requirements, available facilities and funds.
  3. Review and update job descriptions, performance evaluations and training requirements for support staff.
  4. Motivate maintenance associates to achieve department, work center and individual goals.
  5. Responsible for capital equipment fabrication, if required capital equipment purchases the purchase and requisition of spare parts required to maintain and/ or replace, equipment and supplies.
  6. Provide maintenance support by establishing and maintaining a detailed work plan and schedule for equipment and facility preventative maintenance.
  7. Evaluate and maintain OSHA regulation and compliance. Create and maintain a detailed plan of action for all non compliances.
  8. Responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance work, schedules, records and analysis utilizing the maintenance software and AIM System.
  9. Inspect completed work assignments for conformance to blueprints, specifications and standards.
  10. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  11. Implement engineering changes and process improvements with the engineering department.
  12. Generate capital expenditure requests and evaluates/proposes capital investment alternatives.
  13. Minimum Requirements:

    1. · BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred. Electrical/Industrial considered with appropriate education)
    2. · Five years’ experience in maintenance for a manufacturing facility.
    3. · Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
    4. · Good people skills.

    Key Measurables:

    1. · Maintain all facilities, remodeling and office repairs.
    2. · Maintain tooling and machinery in the plant.
    3. · Budget Expenses.
