Job Description

Team Contribution:

• Serves as the primary factory-facing engineer for the Diesel Engine Product Group.
• First responder to engineering shop calls on the factory floor.
• Manages BIQ documentation and collaborates with L3–L5 Engineering to develop ECAs and ICAs for production issues.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Factory Support: Engage with production teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Assembly & Fit-Up: Ensure proper alignment and tolerances; escalate issues as needed.
• Technical Support: Interpret drawings/specs, assist with prototype builds and testing.
• Documentation: Maintain records, update SOPs, and report issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff.

Team & Environment:

• Small, collaborative team: Engineering Manager + 3 engineers.
• Mix of office and factory floor work (PPE required).
• Newly renovated workspace.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (internships considered if applicable).

Technical Skills:

• Required: 3D Modeling
• Preferred: Teamcenter, Print Creation, GD&T, Factory Experience, Coding
