Kelsom Clinic Pa in Irving, TX is looking for one medical biller to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 1202 W Pioneer Dr. Ste 100. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Post daily encounter batches to the billing system
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes for each case
• Balance daily charges, adjustments, and payments
• Track, update, and file patient insurance information
• Maintain current, complete, and accurate patient and procedure files in billing system
• Investigate and re-submit denials from insurance companies
• Correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely manner
• When necessary contact payors to solve billing issues
• Provide feedback to management regarding documentation issues or reoccurring errors
• Prepare and distribute patient statements
• Verify and understand insurance eligibility and benefits
• Communicate with key representatives from provider offices on a weekly basis
