Job Title: Oracle CPQ Architect

Job Summary:

As an Oracle CPQ Architect , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions to support enterprise sales and quoting processes. You will play a key role in architecting scalable, high-performance Oracle CPQ solutions that integrate seamlessly with CRM, ERP, and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle CPQ, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with a strong track record of delivering complex CPQ implementations in enterprise environments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
• Architect and implement end-to-end CPQ solutions, integrating with Oracle ERP, CRM (such as Salesforce or Oracle CX), and other enterprise applications.
• Provide hands-on expertise in Oracle CPQ, including rules-based configuration, pricing, quoting, and approvals workflows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and system integrators to understand CPQ requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop REST APIs, SOAP services, and file-based integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to enable seamless data exchange.
• Implement advanced pricing strategies, discounting models, and approval workflows within Oracle CPQ to enhance sales processes.
• Optimize Oracle CPQ performance, security, and scalability, ensuring high availability and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Oracle CPQ, OIC, and OCI environments.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture sessions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle CPQ innovations, OIC enhancements, and OCI capabilities, continuously improving technical solutions.
• Integrate Oracle CPQ with Cloud ERP and Cloud MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems to support supply chain operations and manufacturing workflows.
• Implement and optimize CPQ solutions that support strategic sourcing strategies, unit cost management, and inventory planning processes.
• Ensure Oracle CPQ serves as a single point of entry for sales, pricing, and quoting workflows, aligning with standardization efforts across the enterprise.
• Design and implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations for external part suppliers, dropshipping, and procurement automation.
• Support and optimize Oracle CPQ workflows for platforms like Prism or other industry-specific applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud technical architecture and integrations, with a strong focus on Oracle CPQ .
• Expertise in designing and implementing CPQ solutions for complex sales processes in large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) , including REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations, and file-based integrations.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , including security, networking, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Oracle ERP (Fusion, EBS) , CRM systems (Salesforce, Oracle CX) , and other enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of CPQ configuration, advanced pricing rules, discounting, approvals, and guided selling processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ scripting, Commerce Rules, BMQL, and BML scripting.
• Expertise in troubleshooting CPQ performance issues, debugging, and implementing best practices for scalability.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for Oracle Cloud integrations, including OAuth, token-based authentication, and data encryption.
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams, leading technical discussions and driving CPQ integration strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle CPQ certification.
• Experience with Oracle SaaS-PaaS integration strategies and best practices.
• Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) .
• Exposure to B2B integrations and EDI transactions for quote and order processing.
• Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA) or Visual Builder for workflow automation.
