Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for political law compliance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills make a real impact? We are seeking a dedicated Political Law Compliance Paralegal to join the team of a firm headquartered in Washington DC!

In this critical position, you will play a key role in managing a wide range of compliance tasks, including corporate reports, lobbying registrations and reporting, charity reporting, and candidate and PAC reports. Your organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that all filing deadlines are met and reporting requirements are seamlessly fulfilled.

This is an in-office position located in our Washington, D.C. / Virginia office, with standard hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and occasional overtime.

As a Political Law Compliance Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with clients and gathering essential information to draft compliance reports.
• Collaborating with supervising attorneys to finalize and submit accurate reports.
• Designing and implementing efficient filing systems for new clients and jurisdictions.
• Assisting clients in developing internal accounting processes and compliance controls.
• Creating and maintaining calendars to track reporting schedules.
• Addressing client inquiries regarding reporting obligations and filing requirements.
• Applying analytical thinking to tackle complex reporting tasks.
• Managing multiple high-priority projects with tight deadlines.
• Conducting independent research to synthesize and analyze information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, FECFile , and federal and state electronic lobbying disclosure filing systems.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and research skills.
• Strong time-management abilities and an unwavering attention to detail.
• A minimum of three years of experience as a paralegal at a law firm, with proven success in political law compliance.
