LOCATION: UPPER WEST SIDE

Porter/Concierge Hybrid

We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Porter/Concierge to join our team. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a Porter, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the property, with those of a Concierge, providing excellent customer service and assisting residents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in both operational and customer-facing roles.

Starting at $22/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Porter Duties (4 shifts per week) :

• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and minor repairs.
• Assist with building upkeep, including monitoring supplies and reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Set up and break down for events or special requests.
• Ensure a presentable and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Concierge Duties (1 shift per week) :

• Greet residents and guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with package handling and deliveries.
• Provide information and assistance regarding building policies, local services, and resident requests.
• Monitor security cameras and maintain building access control procedures.
• Coordinate with property management and maintenance staff to address resident concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a porter, janitor, concierge, or similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays and potential overtime shifts.
