Job Summary:

To support our growth we’re looking for a Process Manager to join our awesome team!

Working as the Process Manager you will effectively lead a high-performing, production team across a leading high-tech corporate dining account. This role shapes our culinary and hospitality intentions-ensuring world-class service, culinary excellence, and detailed execution that reflects our client’s elevated event standards.

The Process Manager is responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager on the overall success of the Production Kitchen. This means adhering to our Client’s culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and Compass Group standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation. Alongside the Logistics Manager, you will manage daily operations, including selection, development, and performance management of employees and managing the systems and processes in an efficient way. This position also motivates and directs team members to accomplish the objectives of the operation, and maintain a working relation with the Client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Food and Workplace Safety: Lead all safety initiatives, including managing allergen protocols and maintaining a secure work environment.
• Team Leadership & Development: Champion team growth and performance by focusing on continuous training and development.
• Operational Integrity: Maintain process and menu documentation, ensuring menu accuracy through detailed ingredient and allergen verification process.
• Process & System Management: Collaborate with chefs to ensure framework, timing and ingredient accuracy.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage all aspects of inventory and cost control, from ordering and tracking supplies to reconciling product costs and identifying opportunities for operational savings.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize and maintain all web-based systems for menu updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen or process management experience in a high-volume, quality-focused food service environment.
• Passionate about building and optimizing processes. You should be an organized leader who can empower a team to achieve peak performance while driving operational excellence.
• Adept at using workplace technology and software tools, including web-based operational systems.
• Experience in a Union environment is a plus.
• ServSafe Certification a plus.
