Job Overview : The Psychometric Rater will work on prescreening, screening, and continued evaluation of older adults with memory concerns into clinical trials of some of the most promising drugs under investigation in Alzheimer’s Disease treatment and prevention.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Inglewood, California.

Job Duties

• Assess potential and returning study participants with psychological and neurological rating scales
• Conduct clinical interviews to collect psychological/medical information and to effectively screen potential participants for appropriate research opportunities
• Educate participants about the potential benefits and risks of our clinical trials through the informed consent process and outreach events
• Communicate with investigators, coordinators, and study teams about participants
• Assist with scientific initiatives, study operations, and participant enrollment as needed

Job Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in psychology, neuropsychology, counseling, mental health, social work (MSW), neuroscience, or related field
• Practical experience working with older adults experiencing memory concerns, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), or Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)
• Proficiency in standardized neuropsychological test administration and clinical interviewing
• Excellent professional communication skills in spoken and written English

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000. Higher salary is negotiable based on prior research experience.

The client pays 100% of health/dental/vision insurance for full-time employees. Vacation (PTO) is earned at the rate of 3 weeks per year.
