As a Regulatory Compliance & Safety Manager , you will ensure the Company’s compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. You will identify and mitigate risks related to the Company’s pipeline assets and support regulatory compliance functions across all operational assets.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Environmental Science, Regulatory Compliance).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory and Environmental Compliance, particularly within the Oil Industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of DOT, BSEE, PHMSA, and EPA requirements as they apply to pipeline and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and TWIC card required; ability to pass drug and alcohol pre-employment and ongoing screenings.

Your responsibilities as the Regulatory Compliance & Safety Manager will include:

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental requirements, hazardous waste handling, and emergency response.
  • Conduct regulatory audits and maintain accurate records, permits, and required filings (e.g., air, water, waste).
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inquiries, audits, and agency interface related to remediation and compliance.
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in laws, regulations, and technologies affecting pipeline operations.
  • Support the development of operating procedures and regulatory policies to ensure pipeline facilities meet all compliance standards.
