Job Description

New Edge Associates is collaborating with a reputable banking partner that is currently hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused Corporate Banking Relationship Manager in Miami, FL.

The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for maximizing wallet share and product penetration within assigned client portfolios. This role actively promotes and cross-sells the Bank’s products and services to maintain and deepen existing relationships, cultivate new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deepen client relationships through proactive outreach, in-person visits, and tailored financial solutions.
  • Promote and cross-sell a full range of banking products and services to increase deposits, loans, and non-interest income.
  • Deliver personalized service to retain existing clients and attract new business.
  • Increase wallet share and client engagement to maximize lifetime value.
  • Build strong ties with local businesses and participate in community and economic development initiatives.
  • Structure and recommend credit solutions, including term loans, credit lines, and real estate financing.
  • Monitor credit quality, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and risk standards.
  • Approve transactions within delegated authority and present cases to the Loan Committee as needed.
  • Manage overdrafts, uncollected funds, and account activities within policy guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to BSA/AML, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure all client activity adheres to the bank’s policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Formal credit training required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Corporate or Middle Market banking with a focus on relationship management and credit.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Other: Proven track record in business development, customer relationship management, and community involvement.
