Position Summary
Agile RF Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to lead innovative active electronically steered antenna design projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in the research, development, and testing of advanced antenna technologies for Department of Defense and Commercial/Civil Space applications. With expertise in phased array-based radar systems, satellite communication phased arrays, and large space deployable antennas, this position requires a highly skilled RF engineer with extensive experience in antenna design and RF system analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Antenna Design and Simulation
· Lead full wave modeling and simulation using CST or similar tools.
· Develop and analyze small and large antenna array radiators.
· Design multilayer printed circuit board RF transitions to optimize performance.
Testing and Data Analysis
· Conduct Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) testing to validate antenna designs.
· Perform antenna testing using far-field and near-field methods.
· Post-process test data to evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
Technical Documentation and Reporting
· Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
· Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
System-Level Analysis and Integration
· Conduct system-level analysis and testing of radar and communication systems.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF components into larger systems.
Qualifications
· MUST BE A US CITIZEN
· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
· 10+ years of experience in RF engineering, antenna design, or a related field.
· Expertise in full-wave electromagnetic simulation tools.
· Strong proficiency in Matlab, Python, or C for RF system analysis and simulation.
· Familiarity with PCB layout and multilayer RF transitions.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and as a self-starter.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some travel may be required for project meetings, testing, or customer support.
Compensation
The compensation for this position ranges between $100,000 and $150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
