TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection have partnered with a global Chemical Company to recruit a Senior Marine Sales Engineer for the Infrastructure Coatings Business Unit .

This is a critical position within the business and will work with Senior leadership. The role is hybrid in Louisiana. The successful candidate has responsibility to call on shipyards in Louisiana and place a strong emphasis on developing new customers & serve as a technical resource for existing customers across North America.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related area.
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in the marine industry.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentations, training, and technical writing.
• Ability to travel ~ 50% of the time.
• NACE Certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute sales plans (short, mid, long term) in line with our overall strategy to maintain and develop existing as well as acquire new customers.
• The ability to deliver technical presentations to shipbuilding/ship design communities promoting specifications of our coatings and vibration damping mounts.
• Execute customer roadmaps and assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
• Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
• Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects competitors, and the general marker for use by company management in research, analysis and planning purposes.
