Job Description

As a senior developer at Calder Solutions you will play a key role in developing, and delivering innovative software solutions while providing technical leadership to both customers and internal teams. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.

Software Development & Design:

• Write, analyze, and optimize high-quality code to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance.
• Architect, design, develop, deploy, and support software technology solutions for customers and the business.
• Contribute to the completion of software project designs and implementations.

Customer Support:

• Monitor and respond to customer needs through support channels, delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
• Anticipate customer needs and address them proactively with effective solutions.

Code Review & Analysis:

• Regularly analyze code segments for quality and maintainability.
• Submit work for review and ensure it aligns with design plans and project objectives.

Mentorship & Collaboration:

• Mentor and guide team members through knowledge sharing, hands-on assistance, and by setting a strong example of industry best practices.
• Respond to team tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in technology, equipment, and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development practices.

Innovation & Problem Solving:

• Bring creativity and innovation to complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.

PROFICIENCIES REQUIRED:

Typescript, React, NextJS, Payload CMS, Stripe, Stripe Checkout, Tailwind CSS, Postgres SQL, Vercel, Strapi, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, VS Code or Cursor, Github

Helpful but not required:

.Net, C#, GO, Rust
