Requirements:
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to organize a steady stream of information, projects, and calls.
  • Detail-oriented and an ability to multitask while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of technology-solutions: Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce. Able to learn new or product-specific software as required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical functions related to opening client accounts, maintaining accounts, and processing transfers.
  • Work closely with custodians to ensure that all issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicating status of accounts and transfers to financial advisors and the service team and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance client experience.
  • Process incoming checks and payments in a timely manner based on current procedure.
  • Act as a resource for advisors and the service team on check deposit and payment processing best practices and procedures.
  • Assist advisors' requests and address any issues in a timely manner based on current procedure.
  • Provide reports and other information for team leadership as requested.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • 1-2 years general clerical is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Background in financial service industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Systems such as utilizing MS Office, paperwork processing, and other office related process.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires prolonged periods of time sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. The position and duties must be performed in the branch office. If performing work in a remote location, all compliance and office safety requirements apply.
