WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for supporting day-to-day community management across social platforms, including monitoring conversations, responding to followers, and escalating issues as needed.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Community Management Lead to execute community engagement strategies and uphold brand voice.
  • Create and edit engaging social content (static, video, stories, Reels/TikToks, etc.).
  • Partner with the Content Creation Lead to bring campaign ideas to life, ensuring alignment with tone, aesthetic, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, pop culture moments, and emerging platforms.
  • Contribute to content calendar planning, copywriting, and post-production editing.
  • Help maintain social media security practices, platform hygiene, and password protocols.

Required Experience and Education:

  • 6 years of professional experience in social media marketing, with hands-on experience in both community management and content creation
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Deep understanding of social media culture, tone, and emerging trends.
  • Experience working in a brand or agency setting is a plus.
  • Worked on influencer or UGC-driven campaigns is a plus.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Proficient in social tools (e.g., Sprinklr or native platform tools).
  • Skilled in editing software (e.g., Adobe Express, CapCut, or Premiere).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Natural storyteller with a strong sense of brand tone and visual identity is a plus.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
