About the Role:

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Fintech team and lead a greenfield build of the company’s Credit Card platform from the ground up. This is a critical leadership role focused on building scalable, secure, and performant infrastructure to power new financial offerings that will directly impact the company’s core growth strategy.

This is not a hands-on coding role , but you’ll be expected to stay close to the code , drive architectural decisions , and guide your team through design, implementation, and scaling of complex systems. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Data, Risk) in a fast-paced startup environment where high ownership and rapid execution are essential.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building a brand-new Credit Card platform
• Own technical vision, architecture, and execution for critical fintech systems
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to align on roadmap and goals
• Ensure delivery of high-quality code and scalable services under tight deadlines
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in fintech, ideally in credit cards, payments, stripe, or banking systems
• Strong engineering leadership background—preferably at high-growth startups
• Experience delivering greenfield projects and building 0→1 products
• Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern backend technologies
• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-moving environments with tight timelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating with banks or card networks (e.g., Mastercard, Visa, Marqeta, etc.)
• Background in risk, fraud detection, or transaction processing
• Startup-to-scale experience in B2B or SaaS environments
