Immigration & Human Resources Support Specialist

STG has immediate requirements for an upbeat, enthusiastic HR Specialist to perform the following duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Immigration Support:

• Preparation and filing of H1 Applications (New H-1B, Extension of Stay, Transfer of Employment, Amendment Petitions), I539s
• Obtain/Prepare Evidence to support Form I-129 Petitions
• Obtain appropriate Certified Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor
• Preparing necessary documents to send to immigration attorney’s office to initiate Permanent Residency Cases
• Preparation preparing documents to support Immigration Visa Stampings

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for HR Support:

• Preparation of New Hire Documents: Offer Letters, Employment Agreements
• Maintain employee data within HR systems-ADP Workforce Now, internal systems
• Providing Benefits administration assistance to employees—enrollment, answer benefits-related questions, etc.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 7+ years of experience in the Immigration domain
• Knowledge of Department of Labor Portal and Prevailing Wage Guidelines
• Knowledge of Permanent Residency Stages: Perm Labor, I-140, Adjustment of Status
• Knowledge of Employment Authorization Cards (H-4 EAD, CPT EAD, OPT EAD)
• Knowledge of Visa Stamping requirements as required of Consular appointments
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
• Detail oriented required
• Great communication skills, good phone presence and sharp listening skills
• Be a hands-on, resourceful, self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, and a team player
• Possess excellent email, written and oral communication skills
• Be professional, reliable, enthusiastic and team oriented
• Have ability to handle a fast-paced office environment
• Accurate data entry
