We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Training Manager to lead the design and execution of technical training programs that support both internal service teams and external customers. This role is essential to elevating performance and productivity through effective training experiences rooted in strong instructional design and technical accuracy.

The Training Manager will be a creative problem-solver with a solid technical background, excellent facilitation skills, and deep experience in content development. You should be comfortable collaborating across departments and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement technical training programs for internal teams and external customers, including curriculum, syllabi, testing, and workshops.
  • Partner with Field Service and subject matter experts to assess training needs and build effective onboarding processes for new technicians and technical roles in Lifecycle Services.
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and video seminars.
  • Develop high-quality training materials, including manuals, workbooks, and job aids, using proven instructional design methodologies.
  • Ensure ongoing delivery of industry-leading training that enhances skills, knowledge, and productivity.
  • Standardize Foodmate-related equipment training across global operating companies within Duravant.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, incorporating feedback and data to improve content and delivery.
  • Assess performance of trainers and trainees, identifying opportunities for improvement and skill development.
  • Manage training budget and revenue goals, supporting overall department and business growth.
  • Support marketing initiatives for training offerings, including email campaigns (Eblasts), content creation, and promotional planning.
  • Follow up with customers post-training to maintain strong relationships and assess long-term value.
  • Contribute to revenue growth, operational efficiency, and improved EBITDA through expanded training offerings and strategic program enhancements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, training technology, and best practices.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering technical training, ideally in capital equipment or a related manufacturing/engineering field.
  • Demonstrated experience creating training content on complex technical topics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, engineering documentation (BOMs, assembly and part drawings), and other technical resources.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including weekends.
