Senior Transportation Project Manager – San Luis Obispo, CA

As part of the our team, you’ll collaborate with industry-leading experts, work closely with clients and public agencies, and help shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.

Expertise in

• Transportation Engineering – Extensive experience in all aspects of roadway engineering, including roundabout design, interchange design, and active transportation projects.
• Project Leadership – Over five years of proven project management experience, leading schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and contract negotiations.
• Public Works Design – Minimum of 10 years in public works transportation design (or 14 years equivalent experience), with a strong understanding of Caltrans District 5 processes preferred.
• Client & Agency Relations – Ability to interact productively with clients and public agencies, fostering long-term relationships and delivering high-quality service.
• Team Management – Supervising engineering design teams, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality deliverables.
• Business Development – Proven ability to identify opportunities and grow business in transportation design; Central Coast local experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong technical expertise in roadway, roundabout, and interchange design.
• Familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures is a plus.
