Senior Valuation Professional – Business Valuation Practice

Location: On-site

A respected advisory firm is seeking an experienced professional to join its valuation team. This role involves conducting valuations for various purposes including tax compliance, disputes, financial reporting, and strategic advisory work.

Primary Duties:

• Lead the preparation of valuation analyses, including data collection, financial modeling, and drafting client deliverables.
• Collaborate with colleagues to review assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions.
• Engage with clients and internal teams in a professional, responsive, and consultative manner.

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience performing business valuations.
• Able to interpret complex financial information and work independently to develop sound conclusions.
• Comfortable mentoring less-experienced team members and reviewing their work product.
• High-level Excel skills with the ability to build valuation models from the ground up.
• Skilled in analyzing financial statements and conducting industry benchmarking.
• Familiarity with tools such as CapIQ, Bloomberg, or other market data platforms.
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple client projects at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in articulating valuation conclusions.
• Credentials such as CFA, CVA, ABV, ASA or similar certifications are strongly preferred.
