Job Title: Vice President of Sales and Operations

Location: Field Based Role and In-Office 2x per week (Cranford, NJ + Regional Travel)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on leader to serve as the Vice President of Sales and Operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our current and future European Wax Center locations. The Vice President will provide company-wide leadership through effective planning, development, organization, direction, and implementation of operational initiatives to drive the business forward while ensuring consistent adherence to EWC brand standards.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee company operations, guest experience, effective delivery of all brand standards, revenue and profit growth, and new center openings.​
  • Staffing and Team Development: Ensure proper staffing levels at the center and above; strengthen the bench in the field.​
  • Team Management: Lead Regional Directors, Regional Trainers, and Operations Team.
  • Sales and Marketing Execution: Ensure effective and consistent implementation and execution of center-level sales processes, marketing programs, and rollout of new services or product offerings.​
  • Financial Performance: Identify and implement initiatives to maximize financial performance, including continued improvements to processes, operational efficiencies, and customer acquisition and retention.​
  • Performance Metrics: Utilize a sales-oriented mentality to drive KPIs and improve conversion rates.​
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Drive exceptional P&L management as well as budgeting and forecasting to drive company-wide profitability.​
  • Hands-On Leadership: Take a hands-on, “feet on the ground” approach in each market, leading by being present, involved, and immersed in the field with regional teams and associates.​
  • Training and Development: Lead training and development efforts to enhance and improve operations and execution of “on the job” training processes.​
  • Brand Representation: Maintain strong and positive relations with EWC Corporate and strive to be recognized as a leader in the EWC franchise community; serve as the liaison with EWC Corporate Franchise Business Consultants.​

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-unit operations, preferably in the retail or service industry.​
  • Strong track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability.​
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.​
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.​
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.​
  • Ability to travel as required to various center locations.​
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.​
