We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join the Adeola Productions team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that align with Adeola’s signature style and voice. Success in this position means delivering polished, engaging, and timely content that enhances the show’s impact and audience engagement. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the show’s production quality and ensuring a seamless viewer experience.
Responsibilities
• Edit and produce daily video content for Keeping It Real with Adeola from Monday to Friday.
• Ensure videos are visually engaging, well-paced, and aligned with Adeola’s brand and storytelling style.
• Add graphics, subtitles, and other visual elements to enhance the content.
• Work closely with Adeola and the production team to meet deadlines and maintain consistency in quality.
• Manage video files, organize footage, and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
• Implement feedback and revisions to refine video content.
• Occasionally attend in-person shoots or meetings as needed.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or digital media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard editing software.
• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality content efficiently.
• Experience with motion graphics and color correction is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a creative team.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
